I love food and I love cooking. Making your own meals from scratch doesn’t have to be difficult and it’s far more satisfying that blasting a ready meal in the microwave or ordering a take away. It’s often cheaper too. Here are a collection of my recipes, either from books or adapted myself which I think are simple and easy and give great results.

A really simple garlic prawn dish with a bit of added bite from some chilli. Served on toasted cibatta great as a starter or light lunch.

Garlic Dough Balls

As anyone who’s been to pizza express will tell you garlic dough balls are a great starter and so easy to make. This recipe will make 12 delicious dough balls. A variation of this dish is to fill the balls with oozing mozzarella cheese and sun dried tomatoes.

Pork Stroganoff

Stroganoff (Cтроганов) is a traditional Russian recipe traditionally made with beef, pepper, mustard and sour cream. This is a much more simple westernised version of the traditional recipe which works equally well with pork or beef.
